Terms and Conditions of Transport:
This Transport can only be
undertaken in conjunction with the following Terms and Conditions.
Any information you receive about
DTR Logistics Ltd or its clients must be treated with the utmost confidentiality and under no circumstances be made available to any third
party.
Smoking out of the Drivers cabin
or in the Drivers cabin is forbidden throughout all work areas in the chemical industry, for obvious safety reasons. There are no
exceptions to this rule.
In case you are unable to meet the
Date and Time requirements you must inform us immediately.
We must be advised of any delays
in transport or of any deviations from the normal transport route immediately.
Delivery of all goods is to be
delivered directly to the address shown on the CMR note.
Any exceptions to be made with
written confirmation from DTR Logistics Ltd only.
If the receipt listing goods
shipped (bill of lading) differs from the original transport order, then before order fulfilment negotiations will be conducted to resolve
the differences.
Only Vehicles which are suitable
for our transport order and which are in accordance with all legal and official regulations and for which you have all necessary permits
for the transports in question must be used.
You are responsible for the proper
loading and securing of the goods on the vehicle and may only start operating the vehicle when it is safe for transportation and when you
have adhered to the safety regulations for the planned transport methods (e.g. Road, Rail, Ferry & Euro
tunnel).
The combination transport
companies’ general terms apply to rail transportation that is part of combined road-rail transportation. The operating companies’
transportation and security terms must be observed for ferry crossings and crossing via the Euro tunnel.
The driver must adhere to the
sender’s and consignee’s specific rules and regulations.
If the driver does not know the
sender’s and consignee’s specific rules and regulations governing the conduct at the sender’s or consignee’s operating premises he must ask
for them when entering the operating premises upon this request a copy will be sent.
For the completion of these
transports only drivers who according to the legal regulations of the interested states and especially the rules on the employment of
foreigners are authorized to perform such transports
The provision of law governing the
drivers and resting periods must be adhered to - no deviation.
Any assignment of the transport
order to a sub-carrier will only be allowed through written consent from DTR Logistics Ltd. If written consent is given you will be
responsible for the correct completion of the order.
You must ensure that any shortage
or damage is noted on the CMR/POD and or Delivery notes when being signed and that any such damage is reported immediately to DTR Logistics
Ltd before moving from loading position. Failure to do so may invalidate
claims.
You are responsible for your own
CMR / Goods in Transit insurance a copy of which must be forwarded via fax or email before any agreed consignment orders can
commence.
Any court action to take place at:
Shrewsbury UK – Under British law.
Payment will only be made within 30 days, end of month, of receipt against the signed original CMR/POD and or Delivery
notes.
